Moore has missed the Kings' previous three games due to an upper-body injury and was placed on the injured reserve Tuesday. The 27-year-old has seven goals, 13 assists, 123 SOG and a -4 plus/minus through 42 games prior to his injury.







Edler has a goal, six assists, 46 SOG, 28 PIMs and a -4 plus/minus through 49 games this season but will be a healthy scratch Thursday vs. New Jersey. Tobias Bjornfot will take his spot in the Kings' lineup.

Anderson has two goals, 11 assists, 60 SOG, 32 PIMs and a +10 plus/minus through 55 games this season and has earned himself a $33 million, 8-year extension with an annual salary cap hit of $4.125 million. The 23-year-old is now locked in as a King until his 30s.

Kuemper stopped 27 of 28 shots (.964 SV%) for his second win in three games as he beat the league-leading Boston Bruins in his previous start. The 32-year-old has been solid in his first season with the Capitals, with his 16-14-4 record, .916 SV% and 2.57 GAA. He takes on the surging Carolina Hurricanes, who had just snapped a seven-game winning streak with a 6-2 loss vs the New York Rangers last game.
