Kuemper will start against the Jets on Tuesday.

The Kings will unsurprisingly turn to Kuemper to face off against Connor Hellebuyck and the Jets on Tuesday. Kuemper was tagged with a second straight loss in his last start, as he allowed three goals on 21 shots in a 4-1 defeat at the hands of the Devils on Saturday. The 35-year-old netminder owns an .891 SV% and a 3-3-3 record on the season. Kuemper and the Kings enter action on Tuesday at -130 on the money line.

Laughton (lower-body) skated on Friday but is doubtful to return on Saturday vs. Philadelphia.

Laughton suffered a lower-body injury towards the end of training camp and has been sidelined since. The 31-year-old Laughton was limited to only four points (2G / 2A) in 20 games with the Maple Leafs after being acquired before last season's trade deadline. The Maple Leafs will hope that an offseason helps the 31-year-old acclimate to the team's style, allowing him to return to the production he had in his previous two full seasons with the Philadelphia Flyers, when he scored 82 points (31G / 51A) in 160 games.

Kuemper will start vs. Detroit on Thursday.

After a disappointing start to the season, the Kings have turned a corner, collecting points in six straight games (4-0-2). They will turn to Kuemper between the pipes on Thursday against the Detroit Red Wings. The 35-year-old Kuemper saved 37 of 40 shots in his most recent outing, a 4-3 win over the San Jose Sharks. He has a 2.81 GAA and .895 SV% in seven games this season (3-2-2). The Kings enter Thursday's contest as -146 home favorites against a Red Wings team that has scored five or more goals in two straight games (2-0-0).

Kuemper will start in San Jose on Tuesday.

After losing five of their first six games (1-3-2) to start the season, the Kings have rebounded nicely, improving to 4-3-3 through 10 games. The Kings have yet to see the elite play of Darcy Kuemper that earned him a runner-up finish for the Vezina Trophy last season, but he will return to the crease on Tuesday against the San Jose Sharks. The 36-year-old Kuemper has a 2.78 GAA and .887 SV% in six games this season (2-2-2). The Kings enter Tuesday's contest as sizable -206 road favorites against a Sharks team that has scored six goals in two of their last three games (2-1-0).
