The Devils' tandem of Jake Allen and Nico Daws has played well in Markstrom's absence, but the team will be thrilled for his impending return to the crease. The 35-year-old Markstrom has a 3.89 GAA and .845 SV% in three games this season (2-1-0).

Beecher has been effective in his only two games this season, scoring one goal, but will return to the sidelines as a healthy scratch on Tuesday against the Florida Panthers. The 24-yera-old forward played a career-high 78 games in 2024-25, scoring 11 points (3G / 8A).

Florida has claimed Donovan Sebrango from Ottawa off waivers.
With the announcement that Dmitry Kulikov (upper-body) will be sidelined for five months, the Panthers have opted to claim Donovan Sebrango off of waivers from the Ottawa Senators. The 23-year-old defenseman spent most of the 2024-25 campaign in the AHL, tallying 20 points (8G / 12A) in 50 games with the Belleville Senators.

The team confirmed Markstrom will be sidelined for several weeks. Expect Jake Allen and the recently recalled Nico Daws to occupy the Devils' crease in Markstrom's absence.
Kulikov is expected to be out for the next 5 months after undergoing upper-body surgery.
