Florida Panthers News

Barkov (shoulder) will miss the final two games of the regular season.

Barkov was hurt in the Panthers win over the Bruins on Thursday and will miss two must-win games for the Panthers this weekend. This is an incredibly huge loss for the Panthers, but Barkov is expected to be back in the playoffs, if they can get there without him.

Aleksander Barkov
Jones (upper-body) will be a game-time decision on Thursday.

Jones has missed the last three games with an upper-body injury, but could return tonight vs. the Panthers. Jones is a candidate for the Norris Trophy this season, so his return to the Blue Jackets lineup would obviously be a huge boost. He has registered 14 goals and 35 assists (49 points) in 71 games so far.

Seth Jones
Markstrom will start Tuesday in Vegas.

Markstrom surrendered four goals on 29 shots in the Canucks loss to the Sharks on Saturday. It was Markstrom’s fourth consecutive loss and moved hime to 1-4-1 with a 2.85 GAA and .915 SV% in March. Markstrom has had a tough year and tonight will be no different as he faces the Golden Knights on home-ice for the first time.

Jacob Markstrom
Petrovic (lower-body) is expected to be back in the Panthers lineup on Monday.

Petrovic has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury but it looks like he’ll be back in tonight in Montreal. Petrovic doesn’t bring a lot off offence to the table, having picked up just 11 points (1G / 10A) in 56 games this season.
