Jarry got some playing time in the AHL while Casey DeSmith was playing well with the Penguins but has been brought back up to be Matt Murray’s backup. Jarry has gone 6-2-0 with a 2.60 GAA and .914 SV% in eight AHL games this season. He’s been equally impressive in the NHL, going 9-4-2 with a 2.44 GAA and .919 SV%.


Walman, 21, did not appear in a game during his time with the Blues and returns to Chicago with just two goals and 11 assists (13 points) in 40 games.


Kapanen has picked up 12 goals and 10 assists (22 points) in 27 games with the Marlies this season. Kapanen had two goals in six games with Toronto earlier this season.


Roslovic went back to the Moose during the Jets bye week but is set to continue his NHL career this weekend. The 2015 first-round pick (No.25 overall) has yet to record an NHL point, but he has registered 15 goals and 20 assists (35 points) in 32 game with Manitoba.

Jarry was pulled after surrendering five goals on 19 shots in the Penguins loss to the Bruins last Sunday. With Matt Murray dealing with a family matter, Jarry will make his third consecutive start this afternoon. Jarry is 4-2-0 with a 3.16 GAA and .893 SV% on home ice this season and he will host a Red Wings team that won four of five prior to their bye week.

Walman served as the Blues extra defnseman during their brief road-trip. With Vince Dunn (illness) returning from IR, Walman goes back to the Wolves, where he had two goals and 11 assists (13 points) in 34 games.




Walman, 21, was a third-round pick (No.82 overall) in 2014 and has 13 points (2G / 11A) in 34 games with the Wolves this season. Walman will likely serve as an extra defenseman during the Blues’ short trip with Vince Dunn (illness) on IR.

Jarry stopped 16 of 17 shots before leaving Tuesday’s game in Philadelphia with an undisclosed injury. Despite leaving the game, Jarry was back on the ice on Thursday and backed up Matt Murray. Jarry will start the tail-end of the back-to-back and has a nice matchup against an Islanders team that has lost four straight and 11 of their last 15 (4-9-2).
