Jarry will start in Columbus on Tuesday.

The Penguins are playing their best hockey of the season and will turn to Jarry as they attempt to extend their winning streak to five games. Jarry has not allowed a goal in over 108 minutes and is rocking a fabulous .975 SV% over his last three games (3-0-0). The Penguins have outscored their opposition by a dominant 20-5 total over their last four contests (4-0-0) and will look to continue their dominance as -173 road favourites against a Columbus Blue Jackets team that scores the seventh-fewest goals in the league (2.73 GF / GP).

Ty Emberson will draw back into the Sharks' lineup Tuesday vs. Florida.

Emberson has played seven games this season but has been out of the lineup since November 7th. He has one point (0G / 1A), nine blocks, and nine hits while averaging 15:57 time-on-ice. He is expected to replace Kyle Burroughs, who will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday.

Devon Levi will start Tuesday vs. Boston.

Since Levi returned earlier this month from an injury, the Sabres have opted to rotate starts between him and Ukko Pekka-Luukkonen and will likely continue this trend with Levi taking the crease on Tuesday. Levi is sporting a very pedestrian 3.17 GAA and .896 SV% through six games (3-3-0) but has won both starts since returning to the lineup, saving 57 of 63 shots (.905 SV%). The Bruins lead the Eastern Conference with an 11-1-2 record but rank in the bottom half of the league offensively, averaging 3.21 goals per game.

Levi will start against the Wild on Friday.

Levi is the starter for the Sabres on Friday after serving as the backup to Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen in the team's 3-2 loss to the Carolina Hurricanes on Tuesday. Levi last played on November 4th, saving 25 of 29 shots in a 6-4 victory over the Toronto Maple Leafs. His rookie season has not gone as smoothly as anticipated, posting a .341 GAA and .885 SV% through five games (2-3-0). The Sabres are -118 home favourites against a Minnesota Wild team coming off a 4-1 loss last night at the hands of the New York Rangers.

Matthew Savoie is likely to make his NHL debut Friday vs. Minnesota.

Savoie is one of the Sabres' most intriguing prospects after being draft as a first-round pick of the 2022 NHL Draft (9th overall) and is set to make his debut Friday vs. Minnesota. The 19-year-old centre appeared for five games for Rochester (AHL) earlier this season and had two goals, three assists, and six PIMs in six games played.

Tristan Jarry (undisclosed) will be out Thursday at Los Angeles.

The severity of Jarry's injury hasn't been fully disclosed, but he isn't expected to miss significant time, currently being given a day-to-day prognosis. Magnus Hellberg will assume the role of starting goaltender in Jarry's absence. The Penguins have also recalled Joel Blomqvist to serve as Hellberg's backup as Alex Nedeljkovic is also unavailable, on long-term injured reserve with a lower-body injury.

Tristan Jarry
Tristan Jarry (undisclosed) is considered day-to-day until the Penguins provide more updates.

Jarry saved all 21 shots he faced before exiting the game late in the second period after Ducks' forward Adam Henrique collided with his head and is considered day-to-day. Hellberg entered the game and saved 11 shots en route to an eventual 2-0 victory over the Anaheim Ducks. If Jarry misses any extended time, expect Hellberg to take on starting duties for the Penguins as Alex Nedeljkovic is also out of the lineup, on long-term injured reserve with a lower-body injury.

Jarry will start in Anaheim on Tuesday.

It's been a very hot and cold start to the 2023-24 season for Jarry. The 28-year-old netminder is tied for the league lead with two shutouts to his name, but he also boasts an unsavory .897 SV% and a 2.73 GAA across eight starts. Jarry and the Penguins will be looking to build off a dominant win in San Jose on Saturday, when Jarry turned away 24 of the 26 shots he faced enroute to the 10-2 routing. Jarry and the Penguins somewhat curiously find themselves as heavy road favourites (-190) in Anaheim tonight despite the Ducks' impressive start to the season.

Tomkins will start in Montreal on Tuesday.

With the Lightning playing their second game in as many nights, Tomkins will relieve temporary starter Jonas Johansson between the pipes on Tuesday. It's the third start of the year for the 29-year-old rookie who spent the last two seasons in the Swedish Hockey League. Tomkins will be looking for his first win of the season and will be hoping to improve on his .891 SV% and 3.61 GAA. He and the Lightning are slight road favourites at -130 over the Canadiens.

Frederik Andersen had a blood clotting issue and is out indefinetly.

Andersen did not participate in practice on Monday due to what was originally described as an undisclosed medical issue. Don Waddell, Hurricanes President and GM, has since put out a statement noting that Andersen had a blood clotting issue that needed to be addressed. There is no timeline for his return. Anderson has a 2.87 GAA and .894 SV% in six games this season (4-1-0). Assuming he misses extended time, Antti Raanta will be the likely candidate to take on most of the Hurricanes' goaltending duties. The Hurricanes also announced on Monday that veteran goalie Jaroslav Halak will be joining the team on a free-agent tryout.
