The Penguins enter Tuesday's contest as +182 home underdogs against a Golden Knights squad coming off a roller-coaster 6-5 loss to the Los Angeles Kings.

Chicago has acquired Aku Raty, Shea Weber, and Victor Soderstrom from Utah for a 2026 6th-round pick.

Raty was a fifth-round pick, 151st overall, of the Arizona Coyotes in the 2019 NHL Entry Draft. The 23-year-old has spent the entirety of the 2024-25 season in the AHL, tallying 19 points (4G / 15A) in 50 games with the Tucson Roadrunners.

The Oilers have acquired Jake Walman from the Sharks for Carl Berglund and a conditional 2026 first-round pick.

Walman made a big impact in 50 games with San Jose this season, averaging 23:11 time-on-ice and scoring 32 points (6G / 26A), earning a coveted first-round pick for the Sharks. The 29-year-old Walman likely won't see the powerplay exposure he had in San Jose now, behind Evan Bouchard on Edmonton's depth chart, but he is still poised to suit up as one of their top-four defensemen.

Ekholm (illness) is out on Thursday vs. Montreal.

Ekholm played only 17:59 time-on-ice in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Anaheim Ducks, a significant decrease from the 22:36 he is averaging this season, and will miss Thursday's game against the Montreal Canadiens due to an illness. The 34-year-old Ekholm has 27 points (8G / 19A) in 60 games this season.
