Andersen will start Wednesday against the Islanders.

Andersen gave up two goals on 32 shots in the Maple Leafs loss to the Flyers last Saturday. As is customary, Andersen will start every game until the tail-end of a back-to-back, so look for him to start Tuesday and Thursday with Kasimir Kaskisuo making his NHL debut on Friday. Andersen has not lost on the road (3-0-0) this season and has won his last five starts against the Islanders while stopping 150 of the 160 shots (.938 SV%) that he has faced.

Hyman (knee) will make his season debut on Wednesday.

Hyman missed the first 19 games of the season but will play Wednesday vs. the Islanders. Hyman's return comes at a great time, as he'll slide in for Mitch Marner, who is out with a high-ankle sprain. Hyman likely won't have the same success with Marner out, but he'll still be with John Tavares on Wednesday. The 27-year-old set career-highs in goals (21) and points (41) in 71 games last year.

The Blackhawks have signed Alec Regula to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Regula, who was acquired from the Red Wings for Brendan Perlini, has enjoyed a great start to the 2019-20 season. He has been paired with Ryan Merkley on the London Knights (OHL) first pair is currently fifth on the team with 15 points (7G / 8A) in 14 games.

Andersen will start Saturday vs. the Flyers.

Andersen stopped 37 of the 38 shots that he faced in the Maple Leafs win over the Golden Knights on Thursday. He is on a three-game winning streak, which started with a shootout win over the Flyers, who he'll face again tonight. Andersen is 6-2-2 with a 2.92 GAA and .906 SV% in 10 starts at Scotiabank Arena this season.

Andersen stopped 24 of 25 shots in the Maple Leafs win over the Kings on Tuesday. Andersen has now won three of his last four starts with a 2.17 GAA and .922 SV%. He is heating up and catches a break with Malcolm Subban starting instead of Marc-Andre Fleury. Vegas is 5-2-0 and is scoring 2.86 goals per game in their first seven road games.

Andersen will start Tuesday vs. the Kings.

Andersen allowed three goals on 40 shots in the Maple Leafs shootout win in Philadelphia on Saturday. Andersen has won five of his last seven starts while posting a 2.62 GAA and .917 SV% and he becomes an even better option with John Tavares drawing back into the lineup tonight. Los Angeles comes in averaging 2.71 goals per game (23rd).

Andersen will start Saturday in Philadelphia.

Andersen allowed four goals on 33 shots in the Maple Leafs loss to the Capitals on Tuesday. Andersen was able to win six of his first 10 starts but he posted a forgettable .901 SV% in the month of October. Tonight will make his third road start of the season--he is 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA and .946 SV% in the first two outings.

Frederik Andersen
Andersen will start Tuesday vs. the Capitals.

Andersen allowed one goal on 17 shots in the Maple Leafs win over the Sharks last Friday. Due to two back-to-backs, Andersen started just two games last week but is poised to start Tuesday vs. the Capitals and Saturday in Philadelphia this week. The 30-year-old has gone 4-2-1 with a 3.37 GAA and .893 SV% in his first seven starts on home ice this season.

Frederik Andersen
Andersen starts Friday vs. the Sharks.

Andersen allowed four goals on 38 shots in the Maple Leafs overtime loss to the Blue Jackets on Monday. The loss snapped a three-game winning streak for Andersen, who will start the front-end of a back-to-back on Friday. The 30-year-old is 3-2-1 with a 3.77 GAA and .888 SV% on home-ice this season and catches the Sharks on the back-end of a back-to-back.

Frederik Andersen
Stillman was recalled from Springfield (AHL) and will make his season debut on Thursday.

Stillman picked up one assist in five games with Springfield to start the season but has been called up because Michael Matheson will miss at least 10 days with an undisclosed injury. Stillman will play in his second career NHL game on Tuesday.

Riley Stillman
The Blackhawks have placed Connor Murphy (groin) on LTIR.

Murphy suffered a groin injury in Tuesday's shootout loss to the Golden Knights and his move to LTIR provides the Blackhawks with some cap relief but also means he'll miss at least 11 games. Dennis Gilbert was recalled from Rockford (AHL) and either he or Slater Koekkoek will replace Murphy. This also helps explain the trade for Ian McCoshen on Tuesday as the team looked to address organizational depth on the back-end.

Connor Murphy
Jarry will start Wednesday in Tampa Bay.

Jarry allowed just one goal on 22 shots in the Penguins loss to Vegas on Saturday. Jarry was great but Marc-Andre Fleury was sensational at the other end of the ice and dealt Jarry his first loss of the season. Jarry has allowed just three goals on 51 shots (.941 SV%) in two starts this year but has a rough matchup in Tampa Bay with his team on a back-to-back.

Tristan Jarry
Andersen will start Monday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Andersen allowed three goals on 46 shots in the Maple Leafs overtime win over the Bruins on Saturday. Andersen has won three straight games while stopping 95 of the 102 shots (.932 SV%) that he has faced. The 30-year-old is 3-2-0 with a 3.75 GAA and .887 SV% on home-ice this season but is a must-start against a Blue Jackets team averaging just 2.25 goals per game (29th in the NHL).

Frederik Andersen
Jarry will start Saturday vs. the Golden Knights.

Jarry made 27 saves on 29 shots in the Penguins win in Winnipeg last Sunday. It was a great start to 2019-20 for Jarry, who gets the nod tonight vs. Marc-Andre Fleury and Vegas Golden Knights. Jarry had a .915 SV% in 47 AHL starts last year and a .907 SV% in 30 career NHL appearances. He’s a solid backup but not a great spot-start option against Vegas.
