Adam Erne will draw back into the Stars' lineup on Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings, resulting in Blackwell being a healthy scratch. The 32-year-old Blackwell is averaging 11:43 time-on-ice and has seven points (2G / 5A) in 35 games this season.

Colin Blackwell will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings, allowing Erne to re-enter the lineup against his former team. The 30-year-old Erne has been effective in a fourth-line role for the Stars this season, scoring four points (3G / 1A) in 15 games.

DeSmith has deservedly seen an increase in playing time lately and will return to the crease on Tuesday against the Detroit Red Wings for his sixth start in the Stars' last 13 games. The 34-year-old DeSmith has been outstanding for Dallas this season, posting a 2.20 GAA and .920 SV% in 13 games (9-1-3). He is coming off just his second sub- .900 SV% outing, but still recorded a victory, saving 22 of 25 shots (.880 SV%) in an 8-3 win over the Anaheim Ducks. The Stars enter Tuesday's contest as -124 road favorites against a Red Wings team that has won four of their last five (4-1-0).

Kolyachonok is expected to make his Bruins' debut on Tuesday vs. Montreal.

Victor Soderstrom will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday, allowing Kolyachonok to make his debut with the Bruins. Kolyachonok was claimed by the Bruins on waivers from the Dallas Stars last week. The 24-year-old played in 11 games with Dallas, scoring three points (1G / 2A), but with regulars returning to the lineup, Kolyachonok found himself out of the lineup and ultimately on waivers.

Erne (lower-body) will return to Dallas' lineup vs. Anaheim on Friday.

Erne has been sidelined for nearly six weeks, recovering from a lower-body injury, but will return to the lineup on Friday against the Anaheim Ducks. The 30-year-old Erne has three points (2G / 1A) in 14 games this season. Colin Blackwell will be a healthy scratch to accommodate Erne's return.

The Stars are coming off a 5-3 win over the San Jose Sharks last night and will turn to DeSmith to tend the twine on Friday against the Anaheim Ducks. The 34-year-old DeSmith has been outstanding in a supporting role for the Stars this season, posting a 2.13 GAA and .923 SV% in 12 games (8-1-3). He has an elite 1.65 GAA and .944 SV% in his last eight games (6-0-2). The Stars enter Friday's contest as slight -110 road favourites against a Ducks team that is 5-4-1 in their last 10.

Seguin underwent succesful surgery on a torn ACL in his right leg and will be reevaluated after the Olympic break.

Seguin has not played since suffering a torn ACL at the beginning of December and will be out indefinitely after undergoing surgery. It's all but certain that Seguin's season is over, but the team will reevaluate him to see if returning in the postseason is a viable option. The 33-year-old Seguin was off to a decent start to the 2025-26 season, scoring 17 points (7G / 10A) in 27 games, but, unfortunately, has become familiar with seasons being cut short by injuries. Seguin missed 62 games due to injury in 2024-25.

Oettinger has lost two straight contests (0-2-0), allowing six goals on 52 combined shots (.885 SV%), and will return to the crease on Thursday against the San Jose Sharks. He has a 2.54 GAA and .907 SV% in 22 games this season (14-6-2). The American goalie is celebrating his 27th birthday on Thursday and hopes to do so with a win against a Sharks team he helped defeat 4-1 two weeks ago. The Stars enter the game as sizable -193 road favorites.

Kolyachonok started this season in the AHL, but injuries on the Dallas blueline awarded him the opportunity to make his team debut last month. The 24-year-old played in 11 games with Dallas, scoring three points (1G / 2A), but with regulars returning to the lineup, Kolyachonok found himself out of the lineup and ultimately on waivers. He joins a Bruins team that has battled its own share of blueline injuries.

Nils Lundkvist returns to the Stars lineup on Monday against the Los Angles Kings, resulting in Capobianco being a healthy scratch. The 28-year-old Capobianco has been effective while filling in for injuries on the Stars blueline this season, averaging 12:19 time-on-ice and scoring four points (1G / 3A) in 18 games.

Kyle Capobianco will be a healthy scratch on Monday against the Los Angeles Kings, allowing Lundkvist to re-enter the lineup. The 25-year-old Lundkvist had a poor outing his last night out, recording a -2 plus/minus, and was subsequently scratched in the following two games. He has three points (1G / 2A) in six games this season.
