Chicago Blackhawks News

Knight will start in Nashville on Thursday.

Knight entered the Olympic break on a rough stretch, losing four of his last five outings (1-3-1), posting an ugly 3.19 GAA and .864 SV%. That said, he has been reliable most of the season and will hope that a prolonged break will help him return to early-season form, when he posted a 2.54 GAA and .913 SV% in his first 34 games (15-13-6). The Blackhawks enter Thursday's contest as +149 road underdogs against the Nashville Predators, whom they defeated 3-0 in their previous meeting.

Knight will start vs. San Jose on Monday.

Knight has been solid for the Blackhawks this season, giving them a chance on most nights, but finds himself in a rough stretch, allowing three or more goals in four consecutive games (1-2-1). That said, the 24-year-old Knight is still sporting a solid 2.59 GAA and .908 SV% in his last 10 games (5-4-1). The Blackhawks enter the action on Monday with even -105 odds at home against a San Jose Sharks team that is coming off a 3-2 loss to the Calgary Flames.

Levshunov is a healthy scratch for Friday's game against the Blue Jackets.

Levshunov will take a seat on Friday in favour of the recently recalled Sam Rinzel. Blackhawks head coach Jeff Blashill said they will start Levshunov on a program to reset some "foundational" aspects to his game, and he may not play again prior to the Olympic break.
