The Flames have recalled Juuso Valimaki from Stockton (AHL).
With Sean Monahan landing on LTIR over the weekend, the Flames have some new-found cap space. They used the room to recall Valimaki and Adam Ruzicka from the AHL. Valimaki has two goals and 15 assists (17 points) in 30 games with Stockton this season.

Kotkanieimi will miss 2-to-3 weeks with a lower-body injury.
Kotkanieimi suffered a lower-body injury late in Tuesday's win in Washington on a questionable hit from Lars Eller. Jordan Martinook (undisclosed) could be back in the lineup on Thursday to replace Kotkanieimi on the fourth line.

The Bruins have signed Brandon Bussi to a one-year, entry-level contract.
Bussi was an undrafted free agent out of Western Michigan University. The 23-year-old netminder went 26-12-1 with a 2.54 GAA and .912 SV% in 39 games this season. He will report to Providence (AHL).
The Hurricanes have signed Noel Gunler to a three-year, entry-level contract.
The Hurricanes selected Gunler in the second-round of the 2020 NHL Draft and he has remained in Sweden since then. The 20-year-old had 13 goals with 10 assists (23 points) in 52 games with Brynas IF Gavle (SHL) this season.
Kotkaniemi (lower-body) will not play on Tuesday.
