Cooley has been a bright spot in a mostly disappointing season for the Flames and has been solid in his last two games (2-0-0), saving 61 of 65 combined shots (.938 SV%). The 28-year-old California-born goalie has a 2.29 GAA and .918 SV% in 14 appearances this season (5-4-2). The Flames enter the action on Thursday as +109 road underdogs against a Chicago Blackhawks team that will welcome their leading scorer, Connor Bedard (illness), back into the lineup.

Stromgren recently made his NHL debut, playing three games, but will head to the press box as a healthy scratch on Thursday. The 22-year-old Swedish forward is averaging 7:17 time-on-ice and is still searching for his first career point.

Brzustewicz will return from a multi-game absence, drawing back into the lineup on Thursday against the Chicago Blackhawks. The 21-year-old defenseman is averaging 13:42 time-on-ice and has one assist in 12 games this season.

Hunt played two games with the Flames earlier this season, but has spent most of the 2025-26 campaign in the AHL with the Wranglers. The 30-year-old forward has 54 points (18G / 36A) in 237 career NHL games.

Coleman was a late scratch on Saturday because of an upper-body injury and will miss at least two more games before he is eligible to be activated from Injured Reserve. The 34-year-old Coleman is averaging 17:00 time-on-ice, recording 21 points (13G / 8A), 105 shots, and 110 hits in 44 games this season.

Pospisil suffered an injury late in training camp and has been sidelined since. The 25-year-old Slovak forward is entering his third NHL season after recording career highs in games played (81), points (25), and hits (301). He returned to contact drills at practice last week and will spend some time in the AHL on a conditioning loan before making his season debut with the Flames.

Wolf has allowed four goals in each of his last four games (0-4-0), posting a lowly .876 SV%, but hopes to rebound on Tuesday against the Columbus Blue Jackets. The 24-year-old sophomore goalie has a 2.97 GAA and .897 SV% in 35 games this season (14-18-2). The Flames enter Tuesday's contest as +122 road underdogs against a Blue Jackets team that fired Head Coach Dean Evason yesterday following a 2-4-1 stretch.

Matt Rempe will be a healthy scratch on Monday, allowing Othmann to enter the lineup against the Seattle Kraken. The 23-year-old Othman has played six games for the Rangers this season and is still searching for his first point.


Brzustewicz played in two straight games but he will be replaced by Brayden Pachal in the lineup on Saturday. Since coming up from the AHL, Brzustewicz has just one assist in 12 games.

Pachal played 13:57 TOI on Monday but was a healthy scratch for the last two games. Today he'll replace Hunter Brzustewicz on the third pairing. Pachal has yet to score and has just three assists in 22 NHL games.

Stromgren played 8:04 TOI in his NHL debut on Wednesday but was a healthy scratch on Thursday. He'll replace Blake Coleman, who is day-to-day, on Saturday.

The Flames announced that Coleman would not play Saturday right before warmups started in Pittsburgh. He's considered day-to-day and will be replaced by William Stromgren in the lineup.
