Frost appeared in the last two games, failing to record a point in 13:00 ATOI but will be scratched tonight with Joel Farabee returning from an illness. If he's going to sit, Frost will likely be sent back to Lehigh Valley (AHL).

Farabee missed the last three games with an illness but will replace Morgan Frost tonight vs. the Islanders. Farabee will be back on the second line with Kevin Hayes and Travis Konecny and has four goals with two assists in his last six games.

Farabee, who will miss his third straight game, skated in the morning skate on Monday but will get one more day off. Head coach Alain Vigneault expects him to be back in the lineup tomorrow against the Islanders.

With Joel Farabee sidelined with an illness, the Flyers are looking to Frost to inject some offence into their middle-6. Frost, who had seven points in 18 games with the Flyers earlier in the year, has tallied eight goals with 12 assists (20 points) in 30 AHL games this season.

Farabee reportedly lost a lot of weight while battling illness, so the Flyers will give him a few more days to build back up some strength. Scott Laughton moved into the Flyers' top-6 in Friday's practice to replace Farabee.

Farabee missed Wednesday's practice and will miss Thursday's game vs. the Devils. This is a tough break for Farabee, who had scored four goals with two assists and 12 shots in his last six games. Andy Andreoff was recalled from the AHL to take his place on the roster.

Prosvetov did not see any NHL playing time during his call-up and the demotion clears the way for Antti Raanta to return on Saturday. The 20-year-old former fourth-round pick has gone 11-3-0 with a 2.38 GAA and .931 SV% in 15 AHL games this season.

Farabee had to be sent down yesterday to make way for Alex Lyon to backup Brian Elliott. With Chris Stewart clearing waivers and being assigned to the Phantoms, Farabee comes back up and is expected to play vs. the Canadiens.

Carter Hart will miss 2-to-3 weeks with an abdominal strain and that affected their cap situation. Farabee had to be sent down in order to call-up Alex Lyon to serve as Brian Elliott's backup on Wednesday. Chris Stewart was also placed on waivers, so expect Farabee to be recalled tomorrow once Stewart is claimed or clears waivers (most likely).

With John Klingberg dealing with a lower-body injury, Hanley was called up to travel as an extra defenseman to Los Angeles. Hanley has two points in eight NHL games and six assists in 18 AHL games this season.

Prosvetov was a fourth-round pick in 2018 and has gone 11-3-0 with a 2.38 GAA and .931 SV% in his first season with Tucson. Prosvetov was called up because Antti Raanta was hurt on Saturday, so he'll serve as the No.2 option behind Adin Hill while Raanta and Darcy Kuemper are sidelined.

Olofsson had to be helped off of the ice on Thursday and it looked like he could miss a few weeks. The Sabres confirmed that it will be 5-to-6 weeks, which sidelines him until at least mid-February. This is a huge blow for the Sabres and Olofsson's rookie of the year chances. The 24-year-old is second on the team in goals (16) and points (35) this season.

Olofsson had to be helped down the tunnel after suffering a lower-body injury on the Sabres' game-tying goal. The Sabres quickly recalled Scott Wilson from Rochester on Friday morning, suggesting that Olofsson is going to miss some time. Expect the Sabres to release a more detailed injury update in the next 24 hours.

Maatta served as a healthy scratch in Columbus on Sunday but will replace Slater Koekkoek in Calgary on Tuesday night. Maatta has one goal and seven assists (eight points) in 35 games this season.

Okhotyuk, 19, was a second-round pick (No.61 overall) in this summer's draft and hast picked up five assists in 10 games with the Ottawa 67's (OHL).
