Henrik Lundqvist was originally slated to start the second-half of the Rangers' back-to-back, but Georgiev was outstanding last night. Georgiev stopped 45 of the 47 shots that he faced in New York's win in Columbus. He has now stopped 78 of the last 80 shots (.975 SV%) that he has faced and draws a solid matchup on Friday. Dahlin was elbowed in the head by Erik Cernak on Monday and was forced to leave the game and was immediately diagnosed with a concussion. As expected, the Sabres announced that he is out indefinitely prior to Wednesday's game, so don't expect him to play for at least the rest of this week.

Washington continues to dance around the salary cap and Malenstyn is among their latest call-ups. The 2016 fifth-round pick has three goals and three assists (six points) in 18 AHL games this season and doesn't figure to make his NHL debut on Wednesday.

Thompson was hurt in his season debut on Sunday. He was called-up to replace Kyle Okposo (concussion) but suffered an injury of his own after playing just 6:59 TOI. He was hit awkwardly by Olli Maatta and suffered what appeared to be a shoulder injury. The Sabres have announced that he will miss at least three weeks.

Thompson is tied for the team lead with 12 points (6G / 6A) in 16 games with Rochester this season. Kyle Okposo left past night's game and is questionable to play on Sunday, so look for Thompson to make his season debut in Chicago. The 2016 first-round pick has 21 points (10G / 11A) in 106 career NHL games.

Krebs was selected with the No.17 overall pick in this summer's draft. Georgiev got back in the crease on Tuesday and stopped 30 of 32 shots in the Rangers overtime win over the Penguins. Georgiev has won three of his last four with a 2.48 GAA and .920 SV% but draws a terrible road matchup in Tampa Bay--the Lightning are 2-1-1 while scoring 3.00 goals per game in their four home games.

Tuch missed the last four games with an upper-body injury that he suffered in his second game of the season (Nov.2) but will suit up vs. the Blackhawks. Tuch scored a goal in his season debut and will play on the same line tonight (with Cody Eakin and Cody Glass).

Georgiev surrendered six goals on 30 shots in the Rangers loss to the Senators on October 4th. Henrik Lundqvist started the last three games but Georgiev will make his seventh appearance on Tuesday night. The 23-year-old is 1-2-1 with a 3.60 GAA and .887 SV% at Madison Square Garden this season and catches a break with Sidney Crosby, Patric Hornqvist and Kris Letang out of the Penguins lineup.

Tuch missed the first 13 games of the season and lasted just four periods before getting hurt again. Tuch didn't travel with the team to star their road-trip but may re-join them at some point during their four-game trip. Nicolas Roy was recalled from Chicago (AHL) and will take his spot on the roster on Tuesday.

Georgiev stopped 32 of 33 shots in the Rangers 2-1 win in Nashville on Saturday. Georgiev has been great lately, winning back-to-back starts while posting a .968 SV% and that has earned him a third-straight start on Monday. He is 1-1-1 with a 2.57 GAA and. 921 SV% at Madison Square Garden and will face an Ottawa team that is 3-8-1 while averaging 2.58 goals per game (25th in the NHL).

It was a terrific outing for the young netminder, who had a pretty solid month of October, going 2-2-1 with a 2.56 GAA and .924 SV%. As well as he has played, he'll be in tough on Saturday. Nashville is 6-1-2 on home ice and leads the NHL in goal-scoring (4.08 GF/gm).

All signs are pointing towards Tuch making his season debut on Thursday but he has not been medically cleared as of now. Tuch skated on the third line with Cody Eakin and Cody Glass in Wednesday's practice, so look for him to start the season there. The 23-year-old power-forward had 52 points (20G / 32A) in 74 games last season.

Greenway has missed the last two games with an upper-body injury that he suffered vs. the Oilers last Tuesday but will play tonight in Dallas. Greenway, who has five assists in nine games this year, will return on the fourth-line with Victor Rask and Ryan Donato.

Georgiev allowed two goals on 11 shots after replacing Henrik Lundqvist in the Rangers blowout loss to the Bruins on Sunday. After opening the season with a win, Georgiev has since given up nine goals on 83 shots (.892 SV%). The Rangers are currently giving up the most shots against per game, so he'll be in tough against a high-powered Lightning team.

Greenway travelled to Nashville for Thursday's game but woke up "not feeling well" which has led to speculation that he could be dealing with a concussion. Victor Rask will draw into the lineup for Greenway, who will have some time to recover before Minnesota's next game, which doesn't come until Sunday.
