Quinn was the No.8 overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft and could make his NHL debut on Tuesday. Quinn was on the ice for Monday's practice, skating with Dylan Cozens and Vinnie Hinostroza. The 20-year-old winger has 12 goals and 14 assists (26 points) in 20 AHL games this season.

Thompson was missing from Monday's practice after being added to the COVID-19 protocol list. Jack Quinn was recalled from Rochester (AHL) and skated in the top-6 in Thompson's absence.



Geertsen was a healthy scratch on Thursday so this probably won't affect the Devils' lineup plans for Saturday's game in Columbus but Geertsen will be unavailable for at least two games.

Tuch was scheduled to make his Sabres debut before the Christmas break but the games were postponed, so it had to wait until tonight. Tuch will start his Sabres career on the top line with Tage Thompson and JJ Peterka and will also serve as the net-front presence on the top power-play unit.
