Mittelstadt played 9:07 TOI before leaving the season opener with an upper-body injury. The Sabres announced today that he'll miss at least a couple of weeks, which leaves a huge hole down the middle. In Friday's practice, Dylan Cozens was elevated to the top line and Arttu Ruotsalainen is expected to draw into the lineup.

Brown found himself on the roster bubble in Vegas but gets a chance to crack the Flyers roster after being picked up off of waivers. Korpisalo will miss at least the first few days of training camp but is expected to be ready before the start of the regular season. Korpisalo had some struggles during the 2021 season, so he enters this year as the projected No.2 netminder in Columbus.
Kolyachonok was a second-round pick (No.52 overall) in 2019and split his 2021 campaign between the KHL and AHL. He started the year with Minsk (KHL) and collected six points (1G / 5A) in 46 games before returning to Syracuse (AHL). He had two assists in 10 AHL games and will likely report to the Coyotes AHL affiliate to start the 2021-22 season.
