Swayman was the first goalie off the ice at Boston's morning skate.

Swayman has been outstanding lately and will try to continue his winning ways on Thursday against the San Jose Sharks. The 27-year-old Swayman saved 15 of 16 shots (.938 SV%) in Tuesday's 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings, extending his four-game streak where he has not allowed more than two goals in a game (3-1-0). The Bruins enter Thursday's contest as -161 home favourites against a Sharks team on a three-game losing streak (0-1-2).

Swayman has been excellent since returning from representing Team USA at the Olympics, posting a tremendous 1.34 GAA and .946 SV% in three games (2-1-0). The 27-year-old goalie saved 22 of 23 shots (.957 SV%) in his most recent outing, a 3-1 win over the Washington Capitals. The Bruins enter the action on Tuesday as -148 home favourites against a Los Angeles Kings team that had a much-needed 5-4 overtime win over the Columbus Blue Jackets last night to improve their record to 3-4-0 since the Olympic break.

Boston has signed Frederic Brunet to a two-year extension worth $875,000 AAV.

Brunet was a fifth-round pick of the Bruins in the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. The 22-year-old defenseman made his NHL debut last season, playing one game with Boston, but has otherwise spent all of his time in the AHL. He has 28 points (11G / 17A) in 55 games with Providence (AHL) this season.

Boston has acquired Lukas Reichel from Vancouver for a 2026 6th round pick.

Reichel has had trouble making an impact at the NHL level and joins the Boston Bruins, his third team this season. The 23-year-old forward has five points (2G / 3A) in 19 games split between the Chicago Blackhawks and Vancouver Canucks this season.

The Bruins have acquired Alexis Gendron and Massimo Rizzo from the Flyers for Brett Harrison and Jackson Edward.

Gendron was drafted by Philadelphia in the seventh round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft. The 22-year-old forward has yet to play an NHL game and scored 22 points (10G / 12A) in 47 games this season with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL).

Aspirot (illness) is out vs. Nashville on Thursday.

Aspirot has become an integral part of Boston's blueline, playing alongside Charlie McAvoy in recent weeks, but he will be sidelined on Thursday due to illness. The 26-year-old rookie defenseman is averaging 16:41 time-on-ice and has eight points (2G / 6A) in 40 games this season. Jordan Harris will enter the lineup as Aspirot's replacement.

Harris will draw back into Boston's lineup in Nashville on Thursday.

With Jonathan Aspirot battling an illness, Harris will re-enter Boston's lineup on Thursday against the Nashville Predators. The 25-year-old Harris has not played a game for Boston since late October. He has two points (1G / 1A) in five games this season.

Korpisalo will start in Nashville on Thursday.

Korpisalo was excellent in his only outing since the Olympic break, saving 36 of 38 shots (.947 SV%) in a 4-2 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets, and will look to continue his impressive play on Thursday against the Nashville Predators. The 31-year-old Finnish goalie has a fantastic 2.31 GAA and .921 SV% in his last nine appearances (5-1-2). The Bruins enter the action on Thursday as slight -103 road underdogs against a Predators team that is desperate to snap a three-game losing streak (0-2-1).

Jokiharju will be a healthy scratch vs. PIttsburgh on Tuesday.

Andrew Peeke will draw back into Boston's lineup on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins, sending Jokiharju to the press box as a healthy scratch. The 26-year-old Jokiharju struggled in Boston's previous game, recording a -2 plus/minus. He is averaging 17:55 time-on-ice and has nine assists in 35 games this season.

Peeke will draw back into Boston's lineup vs. PIttsburgh on Tuesday.

Henri Jokiharju will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday, allowing Peeke to re-enter the lineup. The 27-year-old Peeke last played on February 4th before the Olympic break. He is averaging 19:37 time-on-ice and has 12 points (4G / 8A) in 56 games this season.

Swayman has a light workload in his return to the Bruins' crease from the Olympic break, facing only 16 shots, but he allowed two goals (.875 SV%) in the 3-1 loss to the Philadelphia Flyers. The 27-year-old goalie will return to the crease on Tuesday against the Pittsburgh Penguins, hoping to return to the form that saw him help the Bruins record a point in four straight games heading into the league stoppage (3-0-1). The Bruins enter Tuesday's contest as -117 home favourites against a Penguins team that has surprisingly gone 2-0-1 with Sidney Crosby (lower body) sidelined.
