Mrazek allowed three goals on 27 shots in the Red Wings’ overtime loss to the Blue Jackets on Tuesday. The loss snapped a brief two-game winning streak for Mrazek, who will make his fourth consecutive start tonight. Mrazek has stopped 98 of 105 shots (.933 SV%) in his three previous starts. He’ll face a Capitals team that has won five of their last six.

Killorn is day-to-day with an undisclosed injury.

Killorn was scratched for Tuesday’s game because of an undisclosed injury and is listed as day-to-day. The Lightning are back in action on Friday and head coach Jon Cooper is hoping that Killorn will be back in the lineup. Monitor his status during Friday’s morning skate.

Mrazek has had a tough season and wins have been hard to come by, expect that to be the case again tonight in Nashville.

Carlson was on the ice for the Capitals’ morning skate, but will miss his fourth straight game with a lower-body injury. The Capitals have a back-to-back on Monday and Tuesday, so monitor his status prior to tomorrow’s game vs. the Sharks.

Mrazek has struggled this season, but Wednesday’s performance may have been just what he needed to turn things around. In his first start vs. the Sabres, Mrazek allowed four goals on 22 shots in a 4-3 loss.
