Mason McTavish will return from a two-game absence, replacing Vatrano on Friday against the Utah Mammoth. The 32-year-old Vatrano is having a miserably season after scoring over 20 goals in his previous three campaigns with the Ducks. He only has eight points (4G / 4A) in 44 games this season.

Dostal was serviceable in Anaheim's previous game, saving 25 of 28 shots (.893 SV%) in a 3-2 overtime loss to the Philadelphia Flyers. The 25-year-old Czech goalie has had some difficulties since returning from the Olympic break, allowing three or more goals in seven of nine games, but still boasts an impressive 6-2-1 record despite a less-than-stellar 3.59 GAA and .866 SV%. The Ducks enter Friday's contest as +118 road underdogs against a Mammoth team that played last night in an impressive 4-0 win over the Vegas Golden Knights.

The Ducks enter Wednesday's contest as -153 home favourites against a Philadelphia Flyers team that has scored three or fewer goals in 10 of their last 11 games (6-3-2).

Terry had three points (1G / 2A) in his return from a three-week absence due to an upper-body injury in Sunday's 4-3 win over Montreal. The 28-year-old forward went on to miss practice on Tuesday for maintenance purposes and was subsequently absent from the team's morning skate on Wednesday, but he will be in the lineup in the evening against the Philadelphia Flyers. Dating back to before his injury, Terry now has 13 points (4G / 9A) in his last nine games.

Jensen has already miss a couple of games, and will now effectively be sidelined for the remainder of the regular season after undergoing knee surgery. The 35-year-old Jensen was having a solid season with Ottawa, averaging 17:01 time-on-ice, recording 17 points (4G / 13A), 38 hits, and 66 blocks in 61 outings.

Jensen only played 14:28 time-on-ice in Ottawa's 3-2 loss to the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday, and was absent from practice on Friday. It is unclear if he will be ready to play when Ottawa returns to action on Saturday afternoon against the Anaheim Ducks.

With Yarsolav Askarov (lower body) battling an injury, the Sharks have recalled Brossoit from the San Jose Barracuda (AHL). The severity of Askarov's injury is unclear, but Brossoit will likely serve primarily as Alex Nedeljkovic's backup while he is with the Sharks.

The Ducks will hand Dostal his 44th start of the season when they travel to Toronto on Thursday. Dostal was sharp in what admittedly amounted to very little work in his last start, stopping 12 of the 13 shots he faced in a 4-1 win in Winnipeg on Thursday. The 25-year-old netminder brings a 26-14-2 record and an .893 SV% into Thursday night's matchup, where the Ducks enter action at -105 on the money line.

Helleson has not played in over a week and will make his return to the lineup on Thursday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 24-year-old defenseman is averaging 17:25 time-on-ice and has 12 points (2G / 10A) in 51 games this season.

Vatrano just recently returned from a nearly two-month long absence due to personal reasons. After three straight twenty goal seasons, the 31-year-old's production has plummeted this season. He has just four goals and four assists through 41 games.

Dostal entered the Olympic break on an outstanding run, winning eight of nine games (8-1-0) while posting a tremendous 1.96 GAA and .930 SV%. That said, he has not been able to carry that momentum into the post-Olympic stretch, allowing four or more goals in four of five games, though he has salvaged a solid 4-1-0 record. The Ducks enter Tuesday's contest as +123 road underdogs against a Winnipeg Jets team with points in six straight games (4-0-2).
