Jensen has two goals, 22 assists, 18 PIMs 89 SOG, and a -1 plus/minus through 66 games played this season but will be a game-time decision Friday as he deals with an undisclosed injury. The Capitals will announce if the 32-year-old defenseman is playing during warmups.

Dostal will start Friday vs. the Blue Jackets.

Dostal allowed three goals on 34 shots (.912 SV%) for his fourth loss in five games as he was defeated by the Vancouver Canucks in overtime last start. The 22-year-old has struggled with limited help this season, with his 3-5-2 record, 3.90 GAA and .898 SV%.

The Ducks signed Nikita Nesterenko to a three-year entry-level contract.

Neterenko had 13 goals, 21 assists, 18 PIMs and a +6 plus/minus through 36 games this season with Boston College (NCAA) and has been signed to a three-year entry-level contract Tuesday. He is expected to join the Ducks right away and draw into their lineup immediately.

Poehling (upper-body) will return to the Penguins lineup on Thursday.

Poehling has been out of the Penguins' lineup since February 11th due to an upper-body injury but will return to Pittsburgh's lineup Thursday. The 24-year-old has five goals, six assists, 45 SOG, and a +6 plus/minus through 38 games played prior to his injury.

Granlund (illness) is expected to return to the Penguins lineup on Thursday.

Granlund missed the Penguins' previous game due to illness but is expected to return to the Penguins' lineup on Thursday as they take on the Islanders. The 31-year-old has nine goals, 27 assists, 83 SOG, and a -16 plus/minus through 60 games between Pittsburgh and Nashville this season.

Ryan Poehling has been placed on the long-term injured reserve retroactive to February 14th (upper body).

Poehling hasn't played since February 14th due to an upper-body injury and was placed on the long-term injured reserve Tuesday retroactive to that date. The 24-year-old had five goals, six assists, 45 SOG, four PIM and a +6 plus/minus through 38 games prior to is injury.

Ville Husso is dealing with a minor injury and will not play Saturday vs. the New York Islanders.

Husso has a 23-15-6 record, 2.95 GAA and .903 SV% this season but will be out of the Red Wings' lineup vs. the New York Islanders Saturday. The 28-year-old is considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury.
