The 32-year-old defenseman was activated off the IR Tuesday after missing time with a lower-body injury. The massive 14-year-veteran will start his fourth season with Vancouver having scored 13 goals and 60 points with 166 PIM through 205 games as a member of the Canucks.

Myers will miss 2-to-4 weeks with a lower-body injury.

Myers was not on the ice for Thursday's practice, and the Canucks announced on Thursday that he would miss at least two weeks. Based on the timeline, expect Myers to miss anywhere from five-to-11 games. Kyle Burroughs or Christian Wolanin are expected to take Myers' spot in the lineup for the season opener.

Myers (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision on Wednesday.

Myers missed Tuesday's practice but was on the ice for the morning skate, so there's a chance he plays tonight vs. the Coyotes. Myers is officially a game-time decision, so monitor his status as they hit the ice for warmups at 10:00 PM ET.

Myers (lower-body) underwent surgery and will miss 6-8 more weeks.

Myers has been out nearly three months and will miss at least six more weeks after he underwent surgery to repair a lower-body injury. This is a tough break for the towering defenseman, who has only played in 11 games this season.

The Jets have activated Tyler Myers (lower-body) from IR; he will return to the lineup on Tuesday.

Myers has missed the last five games with a lower-body injury, but will return to the Jets’ line tonight vs. the Stars. Myers, who has two goals in eight games, will skate on the second pairing with Tobias Enstrom and should also see some power-play time on the second unit.
