Nashville has acquired Ryder Rolston from Chicago for Future Considerations.

Rolston was the 139th overall pick of the Colorado Avalanche in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft. The 23-year-old product of Notre Dame has not played an NHL game and has 20 points (11G / 9A) in 66 combined games with the Rockford IceHogs (AHL) over the past two seasons.

Signing

The Blackhawks signed Ryder Rolston to a three-year, entry-level contract.

Rolston was originally a fifth-round pick of the Avalanche in 2020 but was traded to Chicago in 2021 for Carl Soderberg. The 21-year-old winger had seven goals and 13 assists (20 points) in 27 games at Notre Dame this season.
