Ryan Pulock News

Pulock sat as a healthy scratch for the last two games, but will be in the lineup tonight vs. the Senators. Pulock had solid numbers in the AHL, producing 24 points (7G / 17A) in 51 games with Bridgeport, but has picked up just one goal in eight games with the Islanders. He will replace Brian Strait in the lineup.

Pulock has no points in four games, so he will come in out in favour of Marek Zidlicky tonight in Pittsburgh.

Pulock, 21, is one of the Islanders top prospects, but has yet to make his NHL debut. The 6-foot-2, 215 lbs. defenseman has 24 points (7G / 17A) in 51 games with Bridgeport this season.

Pulock, 20, took part in warmups as the seventh defenseman this afternoon, but did not get into the lineup. His return to the AHL suggests that Lubomir Visnovsky will be good to go on Tuesday.

With Travis Hamonic on IR, the Islanders have recalled Pulock, 20, who was their first round pick (15th overall) in 2013. The 6-foot-1, 218 lbs. defenseman has eight goals and five assists (13 points) in 20 games in his first full pro season.
