Thomas (lower-body) will not play Monday in Winnipeg.

Thomas was on the ice briefly this morning but will not play Monday in Winnipeg. This is the second straight game that Thomas has missed, so look for Brayden Schenn to remain on the top line. Monitor Thomas' status coming out of the All Star break, the Blues don't play again until next Saturday.

Thomas left Saturday's game vs. Florida due to a lower-body injury and will not play Monday due to it being a day-to-day injury. The 23-year-old was having a solid season prior to the injury, scoring four goals and adding 19 points with a -7 plus/minus and 32 SOG through 21 games played.

Thomas (lower-body) will return to the Blues lineup on Wednesday.

Thomas has not played since December 4th due to a lower-body injury but will be back on the second line with Vladimir Tarasenko and Pavel Buchnevich on Wednesday. Thomas has been terrific this season, scoring two goals with 20 assists (22 points) in 24 games this season.

Robert Thomas
The Blues have re-signed Robert Thomas to a two-year contract.

Thomas followed up a breakout 2020 season with an injury-filled, disappointing 2021 campaign. He finished the season with just 12 points (3G / 9A) in 33 regular-season games but had a better showing in the Blues' short playoff run. Entering his fourth season, Thomas is still stuck behind Ryan O'Reilly and Brayden Schenn on the depth chart, so it's hard to envision him providing anything more than the 0.6 points-per-game we saw from him two years ago.
