Laine (concussion) was a full participant on Sunday; will not play on Monday.

Laine has missed the last seven games with a concussion, but took part in Sunday’s practice and is nearing a return. Head coach Paul Maurice said that Laine won’t play on Monday but could be a possibility for Tuesday’s game vs. San Jose. The Jets have went 3-3-1 while averaging 3.43 goals per game without Laine.

Laine will miss his sixth consecutive game on Wednesday, but he skated this morning for the first time since suffering a concussion on January 7th. Head coach Paul Maurice said Laine remains without a timetable for his return, but monitor his status heading into Saturday’s game vs. the Blues.

Laine will miss his third straight game with a concussion and remains without a timetable for his return. Laine’s movement to IR created a roster spot too recall Julien Melchiori to be recalled from Manitoba (AHL).

Laine missed Wednesday’s practice and today’s morning skate, but head coach Paul Maurice said he is expected to be in the lineup tonight. Laine has had a great rookie campaign so far, scoring 19 goals and 11 assists (30 points) in 37 games.
