Grzelcyk was limited to only 35 seconds on the ice, exiting the game with a lower-body injury after receiving a slash to his leg from Ryan McLeod of the Edmonton Oilers in his first shift. The 30-year-old defenseman has zero points in his last 12 games and will be a game-time decision on Thursday against the Calgary Flames.

Kevin Shattenkirk will be a healthy scratch on Tuesday, allowing Grzelcyk to make his return to the lineup for only the second time in the last six games for the Bruins. On Saturday, Grzelcyk recorded an assist and fired five shots on goal in 18:20 time-on-ice.

Grzelcyk played only 13:35 in the Bruins' last game before exiting with an undisclosed injury. The 29-year-old defenseman has failed to record a point in 13 consecutive games and has only one point (1G / 0A) through 20 games this season. Mason Lohrei will draw into the lineup in the interim.

Grzelcyk missed the minimum of 10 games on LTIR and is expected to play Saturday in New York. Grzelcyk will replace Mason Lohrei, who was sent back to Providence (AHL) in a corresponding transaction. Grzelcyk had one goal on 12 SOG in nine games before getting hurt.

Grzelcyk last played on October 30th when he exited the game after only 3:29 time-on-ice with an upper-body injury. The offensive defenceman was off to a slow start, tallying only a single point (0G / 1A) in nine games. Grzelcyk will likely play on the third defensive pair when he returns to the lineup.

Grzelcyk suffered an upper-body injury in the first period of the Bruins' 3-2 victory over the Florida Panthers on Monday and has been placed on long-term injured reserve. Grzelcyk would have been a candidate to see a bump in playing time with Charlie McAvoy (suspension) out of the lineup for the next four games but instead, those duties will likely fall to Hampus Lindholm and Kevin Shattenkirk. The Bruins have also recalled defensemen Mason Lohrei, Ian Mitchell and Parker Wotherspoon.

Grzelcyk suffered an upper-body injury on Monday and is expected to be out of the lineup for a couple of weeks. In nine games this season, Grzelcyk has only one point (1G / 0A) and 12 shots while averaging 15:15 time-on-ice.

Grzelcyk failed to pick up a point but had five SOG through three games throughout the first round of the playoffs but will be a healthy scratch ahead of Game 6. The 29-year-old will be replaced by Connor Clifton in the Bruins' lineup Friday.

Grzelcyk had four goals, 22 assists, 102 SOG, 28 PIMs and a +46 plus/minus through 75 games played during the regular season and will draw into the Bruins' lineup for the first time this postseason. He will replace Connor Clifton in Boston's lineup for Game 3.

Grzelcyk has four goals, 21 assists, 97 SOG, 28 PIMs and a +45 plus/minus through 68 games this season but will be a healthy scratch Thursday vs. Columbus. The 29-year-old will be replaced by Jakub Zboril in the Bruins' lineup.

Grzelcyk was a healthy scratch for the Bruins' previous game but will draw back into the lineup Tuesday vs. Calgary. The 29-year-old has three goals, 17 assists, 76 SOG, 24 PIMs and a +36 plus/minus through 54 games played this season.

Grzelcyk missed the first four games of the season after getting a procedure done on his shoulder in the summer. Grzelcyk will replace Anton Stralman (visa issues) in the line-up and should see top-4 minutes and PP2 time at the very least. Grzelcyk had four goals and 20 assists (24 points) in 73 games a season ago.

Grzelcyk continues to make progress and was upgraded to "day-to-day" on Friday. The Bruins anticipate that Grzelcyk could play as soon as the end of next week. Grzelcyk will likely take over for Hampus Lindholm on PP1 while Charlie McAvoy is still sidelined, making him a decent waiver wire addition for teams in need of blueline help.
