Foligno missed the Wild's previous outing due to an upper-body injury and will not dawn Minnesota's jersey yet again Tuesday as he recovers. Through eight games in 2022-23, he has three points (1G/2A) and 11 SOG while collecting 11 PIMs.

Foligno missed four games while in COVID-19 protocol but will replace Connor Dewar in the lineup on Tuesday. Foligno has had a career-year, setting career-bests in goals (22), assists (17) and points (39).

Foligno was placed on the COVID-19 protocol list and likely will not travel to Montreal for Tuesday's game. If Foligno misses time, the Wild will be without two-thirds of their talented checking line.

Foligno was suspended for two games for kneeing Adam Lowry last Tuesday but is set to play tonight in Winnipeg, vs. Lowry and the Jets. Foligno, who has had an outstanding season (17G / 10A), will be back on a line with Joel Eriksson Ek and Jordan Greenway.

Foligno kneed Lowry during a fight on Tuesday night and will miss Saturday's game vs. Carolina and Monday's game vs. Detroit. Foligno will be eligible to return next Wednesday in Winnipeg. Brandon Duhaime will move up to the third line while Foligno is out.

Foligno missed the final two games before the All-Star break but is set to play Tuesday in Winnipeg. Foligno was back in a familiar spot with Joel Eriksson Ek and Jordan Greenway in Monday's practice. Foligno has scored four goals with four assists (eight points) in his last nine games.

Foligno will miss his second straight game with an upper-body injury, so he'll be out until after the All-Star break. The next chance for him to return is next Tuesday in Winnipeg.

Foligno has been out since March 12th but will return to the lineup on Monday, when he is expected to be reunited with Joel Eriksson Ek and Jordan Greenway. In the first 25 games of the season when Foligno was available, the Wild were 16-8-1 but were 8-5-2 without him over the last month.

Foligno being added to the COVID-19 reserve list means that he will not be available for Sunday's rematch with the Avalanche. With him out, the Wild will need to recall someone from their taxi squad.

Foligno has picked up 26 goals and 41 assists in 218 games over the last three seasons, including a career-high 25 points (11G / 14A) in 59 games a season ago. Foligno is often found among the hits leaders and has become a key part of the Wild's bottom-6. Look for him to open the 2021 season on the third-line with Joel Eriksson Ek and Jordan Greenway.

Foligno was forced to leave Thursday's game in San Jose with a lower-body injury and missed Friday's practice. Head coach Bruce Boudreau listed Foligno as questionable for Saturday's game in Arizona, so look for Victor Rask to replace him in Minnesota's bottom-6.

Foligno dropped the mitts with Blackhawks’ forward John Hayden and was absolutely devastated by a right haymaker, fracturing a facial bone in the process. Foligno joins a long list of injured Wild forwards, but is only expected to miss a week or so.

Foligno was absolutely blasted by a John Hayden haymaker in a fight last night and may have suffered a facial fracture. Foligno could miss some time beyond Saturday’s game vs. Columbus.

Foligno is a big-body (6’2” / 215 lbs.) that has improved offensively in each of his six NHL seasons, setting a new career-high in goals (13) and tying a career-best in points (23) a season ago. Foligno will likely take Pominville’s spot as a third line winger in Minnesota, but doesn’t offer nearly any fantasy value due to his limited power play exposure.

Since breaking into the NHL in 2011-12, Foligno has seen his point-production rise a little bit in each season, reaching 23 points (10G / 13A) in 75 games last year. Still not great production from the 24-year-old, but another one-year deal should motivate him for more in 2016-17.

Foligno is a late scratch with an upper-body injury and is listed as day-to-day. Foligno will be replaced by Cal O’Reilly.
