Guhle suffered a high ankle sprain in Florida on March 16th and will miss the final 11 games of the regular season. Guhle will not require surgery and finishes his rookie season with 18 points (4G / 14A) in 44 games.


Guhle has missed the Canadiens' previous two games due to an upper-body injury but will return to the lineup Thursday as they take on the New York Rangers. The 21-year-old has been solid when healthy this season, with three goals, 12 assists, 42 SOG and a -14 plus/minus through 39 games played this season.




Guhle had been having a fantastic rookie season, with two goals, 12 assists, 36 SOG, 21 PIMs and a -14 plus/minus through 36 games but will miss at least a minimum of eight weeks due to a knee injury.

Guhle has two goals, 12 assists, 21 PIMs and 36 SOG in his first season in the NHL but will be forced to miss his first game of the year due to a lower-body injury. The 20-year-old was one of five rookie defenseman to take the ice for the Canadiens in their last game.
