With Jake Gardiner back, the Hurricanes seem content to rotate their third pairing and tonight is Bean's turn to sit and refresh. Bean has one goal and 10 assists (11 points) in 30 games this season.

Bean did not record a point while averaging just 8:27 TOI/gm in two games during his call-up. He returns to Charlotte, where he has 11 points (3G / 8A) in 21 games this season.

Bean was selected No.13 overall back in 2016 and will make his debut on the third pair with Trevor van Riemsdyk. Bean, who is in his first AHL season after spending four years in the WHL, has collected 11 points (3G / 8A) in 21 games with the Checkers. Bean brings some more offence to an already talented blue line in Carolina and carries some interesting punt value in daily formats.
