Andersen stopped 31 of 32 shots in the Maple Leafs win over the Canucks on Monday. Andersen is riding a three-game winning streak, having stopped 74 of the 79 shots (.937 SV%) that he faced. Tonight he will face the Canadiens for the second time this season, he won the first in OT but Montreal leads the NHL in goals-per-game (4.00) through their first 12 games.






Andersen allowed two goals on 32 shots in the Maple Leafs win over the Oilers last Friday. Jack Campbell started Sunday but was hurt in the win over the Flames, so Andersen could become an even bigger workhorse for the nest few weeks. After a rough start to the season, Andersen has gone 2-1-0 while stopping 76 of 81 shots (.938 SV%) in his last three starts. Tonight he faces a Calgary team that Andersen was 0-1-1 with a 2.48 GAA and .911 SV% against last year.


Andersen stopped 27 of 28 shots in the Maple Leafs win over the Jets on Monday. After two tough starts to open the season, Andersen stood tall on Monday and earned his second win in three starts. Tonight he'll face an Oilers team that has struggled in their most recent outings, scoring just twice and going 0-for-10 on the power-play.
