Zamula was in line to be in Philadelphia's lineup on Friday but was asked to leave practice early on Thursday by head coach John Tortorella after not impressing the head coach with his effort. The 24-year-old defenseman has enjoyed a productive first full season with the Flyers, with his five goals, 20 points, 58 SOG, 32 PIMs and a +1 plus/minus through 63 games in 2023-24.

Zamula did not play on Saturday due to an illness but should return to the lineup on Tuesday against the San Jose Sharks. The 23-year-old defender has 17 points (5G / 12A), 25 hits, and 60 blocks in 52 games.

Zamula will re-enter the lineup after sitting out Saturday, and will presumably reclaim his role on the Flyers' first power-play unit. Zamula has five goals and ten assists in 42 games this season.
