Dmitry Kulikov News

Kulikov will miss his second straight game with an upper-body injury that he suffered last Tuesday in San Jose. The Jets are extremely banged up right now and without Jacob Trouba they could definitely use Kulikov, but that will have to wait until Thursday at the earliest.

Kulikov is expected to miss two weeks, which will likely cost him about five games. The 26-year-old blueliner has picked up three points (1G / 2A) in five games this season but will not be replaced by Tucker Poolman for the next few weeks.

Kulikov broke into the NHL with a bang, but has struggled in recent years, culminating in him being traded to Buffalo last summer and him only posting five points (2G / 3A) in 47 games with the Sabres. Still only 26-years-old, the Jets obviously see something they like in the former No.14 overall pick (2009). Kulikov will be leaned on as a No.4/No.5 defenseman in Winnipeg, which should help him in the defensive aspect of the game.

Kulikov missed Friday’s practice for an undisclosed reason and is listed as a game-time decision for this afternoon’s game against the Blues. Expect him to be in the lineup, but monitor his status as the Sabres hit the ice for warmups at 12:30p.m. ET.

Kulikov has been out since December 27th, but returned to practice on Monday, which suggests that he could be back by the time the Sabres’ return from the All-Star break. Expect him to miss Tuesday and Thursday’s game before the break, but monitor his status as the week progresses just to be sure.

Kulikov has one assist in eight games since returning from a back injury, but will come out of the lineup tonight because of the same injury. Kulikov is listed as day-to-day and will be replaced by Cody Franson.

Kulikov has been out since November 9th because of an undisclosed injury, but look for him to get back into the lineup tonight vs. the Capitals. The first-year Sabre defenseman is still looking for his first point with his new team. He has picked up 10 penalty minutes and six shots in 12 game so far.

Kulikov has missed the last three games with an undisclosed injury and it looks like he will miss his fourth straight game on Thursday. With Kulikov out, Justin Falk will remain in the lineup. Kulikov is day-to-day and could return over the weekend.

Kulikov has missed the last two games with an undisclosed injury and he will miss his third consecutive game on Tuesday. Kulikov remains day-to-day, so monitor his status prior to Thursday’s contest vs. the Lightning.

Kulikov missed Thursday’s practice, Friday’s morning skate and will be replaced by Justin Falk in the lineup on Friday. There is no word on how serious the injury is, so consider Kulikov as day-to-day until more information is released.

Kulikov was banged up in Saturday’s game in Ottawa but he was on the ice for the Sabres’ morning skate and will be in the lineup in Boston. Kulikov, who is averaging 22:22 TOI, has not recorded a point and has just four shots on goal in 10 games this season.

Kulikov missed the Sabres’ season opener, but will be in the lineup when they take on the Oilers tonight. Kulikov will take Casey Nelson’s spot in the lineup and is expected to play on the third pairing with Cody Franson. The 25-year-old had one goal and 16 assists (17 points) in 74 games a season ago.
