Gallagher missed four games before returning from a concussion on January 9th but suffered a setback and missed the next six games. Gallagher was back on the top line in the last two practices and is set to play Thursday in Buffalo. He has scored 15 goals with 17 assists (32 points) in 41 games this season.

Gallagher returned from a concussion on Thursday but missed Friday's practice with headaches. Gallagher was scheduled to undergo testing to determine whether or not the headaches were concussion-related or something else, but that hasn't been determined yet. The team elected to leave him back in Montreal for precautionary reasons as they travelled to Ottawa.

Gallagher missed the last four games with a concussion but will play Thursday vs. the Oilers. Gallagher was back on the top line and top power-play unit in Thursday's morning skate and comes in with 13 points (5G / 8A) in his last 13 games.

The Canadiens confirmed that Gallagher suffered a concussion on Tuesday and will be out indefinitely. This is obviously a huge blow for Montreal, who lost part of their dominant top-line. Gallagher is second on the team in goals (15) and points (32) in 40 games this season.

Gallagher suffered an upper-body injury that is likely a concussion in the second period of Tuesday's loss to the Hurricanes. Gallagher was hit in open-ice but was hurt when Ben Chiarot inadvertently kneed him in the head on his way to the ice. Dale Weise was called up from the AHL on Wednesday, suggesting that Gallagher will not be available Thursday vs. Tampa Bay.

Gallagher was given the day off on Friday and confirmed that he will be in the lineup tonight vs. the Sabres. Gallagher has had a nice first quarter of the season, posting nine goals and five assists (14 points) in 23 games.



Gallagher fractured his hand when he was hit by a Shea Weber shot in Dallas and will be out until approximately early-March. It has been a tough season for Gallagher, who has just six goals in 39 games and this just adds onto it.


Gallagher has missed the last 11 games with a groin injury, but will return to the lineup vs. the Panthers. Gallagher skated on the top line with Max Pacioretty and Alex Galchenyuk in Friday’s practice, expect him to be on the top power-play as well. Gallagher has 35 points (18G / 17A) in 49 games this season.

Gallagher has been sidelined by a groin injury since March 5th, but he will travel with the team to Florida and could return to the lineup on Thursday. The Canadiens have gone 4-6-0 in 10 games since Gallagher got hurt. Monitor his status during Thursday’s morning skate.


Gallagher has been sidelined since November 22nd after breaking two fingers while blocking a shot. Gallagher had 19 points (9G / 10A) in 22 games before getting hurt, so his return to the lineup is huge for the Canadiens’ offence. Gallagher will skate on the top line with Tomas Plekanec and Max Pacioretty.


Gallagher underwent surgery to repair two broken fingers and will miss at least six weeks. This is a huge loss for the Canadiens—Gallagher has 19 points (9G / 10A) in 22 games this season. Originally he is expected to be replace by Devante Smith-Pelly on the top line and by Alex Galchenyuk on the top power-play. The earliest he is expected to be back is the first or second week of January.

Gallagher broke two fingers while blocking a shot in Sunday’s win. He remained in Montreal to undergo surgery on the two fingers and is out indefinitely. There is no word who is expected to replace Gallagher on the Canadiens top line.

Gallagher has recorded 12 points (5G / 7A), 67 shots on goal and 33 penalty minutes in 24 games this season. Gallagher, 22, has tallied 81 points (39 goals, 42 helpers) in 149 career regular-season games since his NHL debut in 2012-13. His new contract now carries an annual cap-hit of $3.75 million.

The gritty forward now has 10 points in 19 games this season.
