DeAngelo will draw into the Hurricanes' lineup on Friday.

With Martin Necas (upper-body) and Stefan Noesen (illness) both unavailable on Friday, DeAngelo will get the opportunity to play for the first time since December 17th as the Hurricanes are forced into dressing seven defensemen against the Capitals. In the last two seasons, DeAngelo is 27th among defensemen in points (93 in 134 GP) across the entire NHL making this a very well priced signing for the Hurricanes.
