Kolosov is one of six players heading back to the AHL on Wedneday after the Flyers' regular season wrapped up on Tuesday night. Kolosov served as Samuel Ersson's backup last night to give Dan Vladar a night off.

With Philadelphia expected to sit their regulars for rest on Tuesday vs. Montreal, Aleksei Kolosov has been recalled from Lehigh Valley (AHL) and is expected to play on Tuesday. The 24-year-old has made four appearances with the Flyers this season, struggling with a 0-2-0 record, 4.00 GAA and .830 SV%. He'll hope to better his fortunes in Game 82 on Tuesday.

The 23-year-old Belarusian goalie has started the season strong with the Lehigh Valley Phantoms (AHL), posting a 2.60 GAA and .918 SV% in five games (3-2-0). He will likely serve as the backup to Dan Vlader while he is with the Flyers until Samuel Ersson returns from an undisclosed injury.

The Flyers will try to snap a two-game losing skid (0-1-1) and their season on a high note, turning to Kolosov between the pipes against the Buffalo Sabres. Kolosov last played on April 9th and allowed five goals on 29 shots (.828 SV%) in an 8-5 win over the New York Rangers. The 23-year-old goalie has a 3.56 GAA and .867 SV% in 16 appearances this season (5-8-1). The Flyers enter Thursday's contest as +135 road underdogs against the Sabres.

The Flyers have won three of four (3-1-0) since Brad Shaw took over head coaching duties and they will turn to Kolosov between the pipes on Wednesday against the New York Rangers. Kolosov has not played an NHL game since allowing four goals on 26 shots (.846 SV%) in a 5-2 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights on January 2nd. The 23-year-old goalie has a 3.45 GAA and .870 SV% in 15 appearances this season (4-8-1). The Flyers enter Wednesday's contest as +171 road underdogs against the Rangers.
