Kraken’s Adam Larsson plays in 1,000th NHL game

Adam Larsson made history Tuesday night, skating in the 1,000th NHL regular-season game of his career as the Seattle Kraken take on the Florida Panthers.

The right-handed defender goes into Tuesday’s game with five goals and 14 assists for 19 points in 69 games with the Kraken in 2025-26.
He is the 141th defenseman in NHL history to reach the 1,000-game mark.
Through 15 NHL seasons, Larsson recorded 57 goals and 203 assists for 260 points in 1,000 career NHL regular-season games with the Kraken, Edmonton Oilers and New Jersey Devils. He’s also played in 38 Stanley Cup Playoff games, where he recorded five goals and eight assists for 13 points.

His best statistical season came in 2022-23, where he recorded career highs across the board with eight goals and 25 assists for 33 points.
Internationally, Larsson represented Sweden at the 2010 and 2011 World Junior Championships. He was also part of the 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2025 World Championship rosters, earning gold in 2018 and bronze in 2025.
Ahead of Tuesday’s game, the Kraken were 31-29-9 with 71 points in 69 games, fifth in the Pacific Division and four points back of a Wildcard spot in the Western Conference. Following their game against the Panthers, Seattle will face the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday then fly north to Western New York to take on the Buffalo Sabres.
