NHL DFS Picks for December 23, 2025: Top Stacks, Best Value Plays & Goalie Targets

It is Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025. Full slate on tap with 12 games and DraftKings chipped in and gave us some decent prize pools. Let’s see what we can accomplish.
Top Stack of the Day
Las Vegas Golden Knights Power Play 1 (Dorofeyev, Hertl, Stone, Marner, Hanifin)
Eichel and Theodore still are not back for the Knights today, so we get a reduced price tonight versus the Sharks. The Knights check all the boxes tonight except for one: Excellent Matchup, Check, Reduced Price, Check, Increased Opportunities, Check. The only issue is that the projected ownership is coming in at a monster number for such a large slate. If you are worried about that, I recommend VGK 1 slightly over VGK 2, but this is just a great spot.
Top Value Stack of the Day
Chicago Blackhawks 1 (Bertuzzi, Greene, Burakovsky)
I’m in love with the Chicago One’s tonight. Although their metrics don’t immediately pop off the screen, because of the Bedard and Nazar injuries, they are eminently affordable and will have to skate a lot of minutes. Philadelphia is on a back to back and will likely run out Samuel Ersson, who is far more gettable than Dan Vladar. I love this spot and will be loading up on ‘Hawks. When making this stack, also consider Donato from line 2 who might skate some with the 1’s and Levshunov who will give you power play correlation.
TOP C Value
Tim Stuetzle, Ottawa Senators (6.7k DK)
Brady Tkachuk is priced appropriately tonight for his role, at 8.1k DK and one of the most expensive wingers tonight. That is justified given the matchup with Buffalo. His linemate, Stuetzle, who gets nearly identical usage is coming in at 1400 cheaper in a great spot and should be in line for a 15+ fantasy point night if even a couple of things go his way, making him excellent value.
Top W Value
Fabian Zetterlund, Ottawa Senators (3.5k DK)
Zetterlund gets the draw as the opposite wing tonight on the Stuetzle/Tkachuk line and is priced as a third line winger. This is just a great spot and outside of the already mentioned insane value in Chicago of Burakovsky, Bertuzzi and Donato he’s one of the best points/$ plays on the wing tonight.
Top D Value
Quinn Hughes, Minnesota Wild (6.9k DK)
I already mentioned Hanifin and Levshunov who are the true best values, but if we have a little bit more to spend, give me Hughes for Minnesota. He is much cheaper than his contemporary Makar in a better matchup. He hasn’t quite got it going for the Wild since the trade, but the minutes are there with near league-leading TOI. One of these days he will have a breakout multi-point performance and that could easily come tonight against the Preds.
Top G Value
Scott Wedgewood, Colorado Avalanche (8.5k DK)
Wedgewood will guard the home crease tonight for the Avalanche against a Mammoth team that is expected to barely score two goals and the Av’s come in at -250 favorites or higher. The DraftKings pricing algorithm for goalies just is not prepared for what Colorado is doing to teams and I will be riding it until they start pricing the Av’s pair of Blackwood and Wedgewood at 9k or higher, which they likely will not do.
Bonus Top G Value
Joey Daccord, Seattle Kraken (7.2k DK)
If you need extra salary tonight to spend up on skaters, look no further than Daccord. Seattle has shown slight signs of life lately after being moribund all year and took it to Anaheim last night to win 3-1. The Kings on the other hand have been absolutely atrocious, especially on the power play where they are a league worst 10.4% in their last ten games. Let’s try to catch lightning in a bottle with a potentially slate-winning performance from a cheap goalie.
