Whether you spend your entire day at work or school, it can be difficult to stay on top of all NHL news. That’s why I have created the Daily Fantasy Notebook, so you can catch up on everything you might have missed throughout the day.
The notebook will be released everyday after teams wrap up their morning skate. It will include a number of things: Injury updates, prominent line changes, goalie rankings and DFS value picks.
While this is obviously more geared towards daily fantasy hockey, it can be just as useful for season-long players as well. Injuries are obviously key, but important line changes could be viewed as as potential waiver wire pickups and the goalie rankings can help you make the tough starting goalie decisions you face on large slates.

– Nathan Beaulieu (upper-body) will be back on the Sabres blueline
– Jerad McCann (lower-body) will not be in the Panthers lineup
– Auston Matthews (upper-body) will miss his second straight game
– Brad Marchand (upper-body) will make his return to the Bruins lineup after a two-game absence
– Noel Acciari (finger) will draw back into the Bruins lineup
– Brett Pesce (concussion) will return to the Hurricanes blueline
– Nikolay Kulemin (wrist) is out indefinitely
– Brett Ritchie (upper-body) will return to the Stars lineup
– Radek Faksa (lower-body) will return to the Stars lineup
– Tyler Pitlick (undisclosed) will not play Friday; was placed on IR
