Daily Fantasy Hockey Notebook | 12-12-17
Whether you spend your entire day at work or school, it can be difficult to stay on top of all NHL news. That’s why I have created the Daily Fantasy Notebook, so you can catch up on everything you might have missed throughout the day.
The notebook will be released everyday after teams wrap up their morning skate. It will include a number of things: Injury updates, prominent line changes, goalie rankings and DFS value picks.
While this is obviously more geared towards daily fantasy hockey, it can be just as useful for season-long players as well. Injuries are obviously key, but important line changes could be viewed as as potential waiver wire pickups and the goalie rankings can help you make the tough starting goalie decisions you face on large slates.
Key Injuries
IN
– Marc-Andre Fleury (concussion) was activated from IR on Monday; will start vs. the Hurricanes.
GAME TIME DECISION
– Adrian Kempe will be a game-time decision due to an illness.
– Alexander Kerfoot is questionable to play with a lower-body injury.
OUT
– Radko Gudas will return to the Flyers lineup after serving his 10-game suspension.
– Auston Matthews (upper-body) will miss his second straight game.
– Nikita Soshnikov (lower-body) was placed on IR this morning.
– Kyle Palmieri (foot) remains day-to-day; will miss at least two more games.
– Marcus Johansson is day-to-day with a bruised ankle; will not play Tuesday.
– Alex Pietrangelo (lower-body) was placed on IR; will miss at least the next two games.
– Jay Bouwmeester (undisclosed) will not be in the Blues lineup on Tuesday.
– Jaromir Jagr (lower-body) will miss his fourth consecutive game.
– Cody Franson (lower-body) will miss his second straight game.
