Daily Fantasy Hockey Notebook (11/29)
Whether you spend your entire day at work or school, it can be difficult to stay on top of all NHL news. That’s why I have created the Daily Fantasy Notebook, so you can catch up on everything you might have missed throughout the day.
The notebook will be released everyday after teams wrap up their morning skate. It will include a number of things: Injury updates, prominent line changes, goalie rankings and DFS value picks.
While this is obviously more geared towards daily fantasy hockey, it can be just as useful for season-long players as well. Injuries are obviously key, but important line changes could be viewed as as potential waiver wire pickups and the goalie rankings can help you make the tough starting goalie decisions you face on large slates.
Key Injuries
– Shea Weber (lower-body) is not expected to play vs. Ottawa.
– David Schlemko (hand) is expected to make his Canadiens debut on Wednesday.
– Brad marchand (undisclosed) will return to the Bruins lineup after a six-game absence.
– David Backes (illness) will play for the first time since October 30th.
– Ryan Spooner (undisclosed) will return after a one-game absence.
– Anders Bjork (undisclosed) won’t play Wednesday; a “possibility” to return Saturday.
– Patrik Berglund (shoulder) will make his season debut on Wednesday.
– Rakell (upper-body) has not joined the team in St. Louis; will miss his third straight game.
– Brandon Montour (hyperextended elbow) will not play in St. Louis.
– Semyon Varlamov (illness) will return to the Avalanche crease on Wednesday.
