Corey Perry Listed as Game-Time Decision
Another day, another game-time decision for Corey Perry according to the team’s official Twitter account. Doesn’t sound like the right wing is back to 100 percent; then again, who is at this part of the season? Don’t be surprised if he misses another game or two.

Perry skated again today, which is a good sign. After practice, coach Boudreau defined his star forward as available but refused to mention if he would actually play tonight. According to Eric Stephens of The OC County Register, via Twitter, Perry is very doubtful to play tonight so expect him to miss at least one more game.

Perry skated briefly today and is hoping to play on Wednesday against the Detroit Red Wings according to Jeff Miller of The OC County Register. Perry continues to progress at a heightened pace but would not confirm a Wednesday return. However, things sound like they are improving.
Ducks head coach Bruce Boudreau would not be surprised by Perry returning as he stated to his local newspaper. With the team still vying for a postseason berth, the entire team could really use the reigning Hart Trophy winner which could force him back onto the top line.

Corey Perry is banged up following Saturday’s 2-0 loss to the Dallas Stars. In fact, the reigning MVP finished the contest with slightly over 10 minutes of ice time. Clearly something is wrong with this power forward.
This morning, Perry was not seen at practice according to Eric Stephens of The OC County Register, via Twitter. However, both Perry and head coach Bruce Boudreau haven’t ruled out him for tonight. Perry himself told Stephens he was ’50/50′ and could not see himself missing the game. By that same token, Boudreau said he was 100 times better than yesterday and that Perry will likely give it a shot.
The Peterborough, Ont., native currently leads his Anaheim Ducks in goals with 34 and is second to only Teemu Selanne with 55 points. We hope to have an update on his status prior to game time.
