Daily Fantasy Hockey Notebook | 02-01-18

Whether you spend your entire day at work or school, it can be difficult to stay on top of all NHL news. That’s why I have created the Daily Fantasy Notebook, so you can catch up on everything you might have missed throughout the day.

The notebook will be released everyday after teams wrap up their morning skate. It will include a number of things: Injury updates, projected lines, goalie rankings and DFS value picks.

Key Injuries

IN

– Erik Gudbranson (back) will return to the Canucks lineup.
– Paul Byron (upper-body) missed the morning skate but is expected to play.
– Semyon Varlamov (groin) was activated from IR and will backup.
– Brad Richardson (upper-body) will be back in the Coyotes lineup.

GAMETIME DECISION

– Filip Forsberg (upper-body) will be a game-time decision.
– Nate Thompson (upper-body) will be game-time decision.
– Jordan Martinook (upper-body) will be a game-time decision.

OUT

– Nathan MacKinnon (upper-body) will miss 2-4 weeks.
– Dmitry Kulikov (concussion) will not play Thursday; expected to return on Saturday.
– John Gibson (lower-body) will not dress on Thursday.
– Ron Hainsey (illness) is not expected to be back for Toronto.
