Reinhart was forced to leave Game 2 vs. Carolina after just eight shifts and 5:37 TOI due to a lower-body injury and was not able to return. If the 29-year-old is forced to miss some time, it will be a massive loss for Florida, as the top-line forward had four goals and 11 points in 14 games played so far in the playoffs before the injury.

Jankowski will make his first appearance since Game 1 of Carolina's second round matchup with the Capitals. Jesperi Kotkaniemi will sit in his place.

The 34-year-old has been a massive loss for Edmonton's blueline after he posted nine goals, 33 points and a +11 plus/minus in 65 games during the regular season.

Skinner stopped all 24 shots that he faced in the Oilers' shutout overtime win over the Golden Knights in Game 5. That is now back-to-back shutouts for Skinner, who owns a 1.28 GAA, .944 SV% and 2-1 record since returning to the Oilers' crease in Game 3 vs. Vegas. Against the Stars in the 2024 playoffs, Skinner was 4-2 with a 1.91 GAA and .922 SV%.

The Stars will of course turn to their franchise netminder between the pipes for the opening game of their third round series against the Oilers. Zajicek is an undrafted 23-year-old netminder who has spent the last six seasons with HC Litvinov (Czechia) and will join Boston on a one-year, entry-level contract worth $872,500. The 6'2" goalie opened eyes recently at the World Hockey Championships, where he was the definition of perfect, stopping all 40 shots he faced and posting two shutouts for Czechia in his only two starts. In 29 games with HC Litvinov as well in 2024-25, he posted an eye-popping .930 SV% and 15-13-0 record.
